Bands vs. Bands – The Gateway Press Cup of Dodgeball!

@ The Avenue Theatre – March 12 2010 – 7pm

On Friday March 12 The Avenue Theatre and Gateway Screen & Press are holding a dodgeball tournament to help raise funds for additional renovations of the Theatre.

Here’s some more info:

-You don’t have to be in a band to register. ALTHOUGH one of the ideas that really pushed this event was the opportunity to build relationships between people in the music and arts community in Edmonton. If this is something you’re involved in, and you like to have fun with cool people… get a team together and register!

-Teams can have as many people as you like, however only 4 people will play per game.

-The registry fee is $40 (so if there are 4 people on your team, $10 each!). Remember, this money goes towards supporting your local venue!

-The winning team receives a FREE run of 50 custom tshirts from Gateway Press. Details will be confirmed with the winner!

-Rules of the tournament will be explained day of.

-You must register IN ADVANCE in order to play. To register please email jonny@gatewaypress.ca. Make the subject line of the email “Dodgeball Registry” or something similar.

-Tournament takes place on Friday March 12 at 7pm. We’re looking at doing this as a regular event, so please take part to make it a success!

- All Ages are welcome!
